I Ain't Dead Yet is the reimagined version of Nova Scotia playwright Christopher Heide's original play, written in 1985, commissioned by Mermaid Theatre for high schools. It also enjoyed a run at Neptune Theatre in Halifax. Working with the playwright, Pat Henman, actor, director, producer, and author, updated the script setting to 2026. The play features three female characters - Margaret, the grandmother to Katie, her teenage granddaughter, and Peggy, Margaret's memory of her own youth. The themes remain intact, but the world has changed. This reimagined story proves family bonds that are threatened by misunderstandings and crisis can also bring them together.
