About the event

Taghum Hall Presents: An Evening of Theatrical Storytelling Saturday, November 25 7:30pm Nelson theatre-goers have known and loved Michael Graham for decades, from the innovative Living Room Theatre to his one-man play recounting the life of 100-year-old clown Scaramouche Jones, to Cabaret, The Gin Game (with Pat Henman) and so many more. Pat Henman is a veteran of the Canadian theatre/performing arts as an actor, singer, director and producer. We’ve seen her on stage in Steel Magnolias, The Gin Game, and many more. Pat’s memoir Beyond the Legal Limit, published in 2021 by Caitlin Press, has toured the region and beyond as a stage adaptation. Kozmo Sammartino has held numerous stage roles, from Count Dracula to Ebeneezer Scrooge! Kozmo is co-producer and co-star in the play Souvenir with Rachel DeShon, touring in the Kootenay region and internationally in 2023 – 2024. Taghum Hall Creative Spaces kids have been thrilled to have Kozmo as a camp coordinator for two years running! Bessie Wapp has performed across North America and in Europe. Locally, Bessie has developed, performed, and directed many original theatre works, including The Way They Came, Matchmaker on the Roof, Loco Phantasmo, and Hello, I Must Be Going, and starred in Hedwig, Pontius Pilate, and Orpheo. She conducts the Taghum Hall Women’s Choir and performs with the Bill Lynch Trio and Klezmeridian. Tickets at Taghum Shell, Otter Books and online at
